As autonomous driving systems advance, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication is emerging as an important complement to onboard sensing, enabling vehicles to share information and coordinate decisions beyond line of sight.
Building on the themes explored in our technology insight, this follow-up live roundtable brings together three subject-matter experts to examine the real-world state of V2X and what is needed to accelerate adoption.
The session will address:
- How mature V2X deployment is today, and how different regions compare in terms of infrastructure readiness, policy frameworks, and real-world performance
- Which barriers to adoption – from spectrum allocation and interoperability to security and policy fragmentation – are the most critical to resolve first
- Which emerging technologies and deployment strategies show the most promise
- How V2X’s role shifts from a supplementary data source to a critical enabler as vehicles advance toward Level 4 and beyond
- Whether V2X will prove essential to scaling self-driving, or remain an enhancement layer on the path to autonomous mobility
